I am seriously obsessed with Plain Jane Paints! I have been following the brand ever since it launched, and have since used most of the paints & brushes on all kinds of art projects in my workshop / creative studio - by far, not just furniture!.. I am stoked that the brand is Aussie-made, as I try to always prioritise Aussie suppliers for my art & craft business. The paint is absolutely incredible - it’s so easy to work with, super-pigmented & will go a very long way. I love all the colours as they are, but most of all I love how easy it is to mix them together with other colours & how easy it is to experiment with them generally. Jane is an absolutely amazing lady & her customer service is top notch: she always answers any questions straight away. I would give 5+ stars to this business any day and any time!

I recently painted a cupboard for my sister.
It was in really bad shape and she wanted it to match a side cupboard I had paint for her in Jitterbug
I was super happy to be using this bright colour again and knew from my previous job that it would be super easy to get a good coverage on this messed up previous paint job.
So I add some salt wash to help cover all the layers from previous paint.
It had once been. Bright yellow,fire
engine red, a nice blue and then cream
Every draw had a split in it and it just wasn’t worth the effort to sand it all down

My sister was super happy with the finished result
One draw split had masking tape on it and was then painted over 🤣

I haven't used this colour, only swatched it so far but it is the most amazing blue.

Love the colour, the thickness of the paint & appears to be self leveling! Delighted with my completed projects. Also mixed Dragonfly with the Verdigis & it made a beautiful bright turquoise. Will definitely be purchasing other colours in the Plain Jane range.
