Beautifully soft and smooth, our luxurious furniture wax is made from a natural blend of pure Carnuba and beeswax. It's buttery texture means it's super easy to apply with a cloth or brush. Scented with natural Bergamot oil so your furniture will smell fabulous too!
Seal your paint finish with Clear Wax and then use the coloured waxes to highlight details or add coloured waxes directly to your paint to enhance and deepen the colour.
A 250ml tin of Clear Wax will cover approximately 8m2
To calculate the area of your furniture;
1) Picture your furniture as a series of rectangles.
Eg: for a chest of drawers, 1 rectangle is the front panel, 1 for each side panel and 1 for the top.
2) For each rectangle measure both sides so you have the height and width. Remember to keep your measurements in metres eg: 80cm = 0.8m
3) Now for each rectangle multiply the width by the height to get the square metreage of that panel. Again remember to keep your numbers in metres to avoid confusion.
4) Add the numbers for each panel together to get the full square meterage of your piece.

I have only recently been playing with Plain Jane products and so far I love them all. What is even more exciting is being guided through the use of them with all the online information and videos. I am NOT an arty person but have been very proud of my creations. Top tip - Please DO use the wax - it really brings all your hard work to life.
I had an old white faux leather bed that was turning yellow from age and I didn’t want to spend money on a new bed when mine was perfectly fine - it just looked old.
I found Plain Jane, sent her a quick email to ask if her paints would work on faux leather to which she responded in less than a day.
I ordered a tin of Pinafore and as easy as that, I have what looks like a brand new bed.
With most painting jobs I usually call on the expertise of my husband to help me out but this was so easy!
My husband left for work looking at our old bed and came home looking at the newly painted one.
So simple and so much fun!
